A letter from Pastor Chris
My name is Chris Meyer. My wife, Jeana, and I were called by God to start a church in a small, rural community back in 2009. Our church name is Reach Community Church. We are located in Montgomery City, Missouri. We truly have a heart to Reach In with our relationship with Jesus Christ, Reach Out to others in the community, and Reach Forward to the goals and dreams God has placed in each of us.
Recently, God has placed on our hearts to be a blessing to other churches in small, rural communities. We are just simply stepping out in faith to be obedient to what God is calling us to do.
We truly want to connect with you to be in the trenches with you, so you don’t feel like you are alone. We are in this mission together to go and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
We know what it’s like to feel alone, almost like no one understands how to navigate the challenges and complexities of small, rural communities. We’ve experienced the temptation to be discouraged when numbers aren’t big in budgets and in attendance, but God has placed big dreams inside all of us for our small, rural communities.
