These are personal testimonies of how the love of Jesus Christ as declared in the Bible has impacted real lives…
“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Timothy 1:15-17 NIV

“But Jesus looked at them and said to them, ‘With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” Matthew 19:26 NKJV
- Gary A.
“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble, He cares for those who trust in him.” Nahum 1:7 NIV
This verse always reminds me of the love that my Father has for me even in my trials in life. He has always been there for me even when things seemed dark. He always brought light into my darkness. He showed me the good in those moments. I will always be so thankful for His abundant love for me.

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24 NKJV
“Praise the Lord! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.”
Psalms 106:1 NLT
- Sherri D.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NKJV
- Tony Mc.
“But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.” Romans 3:21-26 NKJV
- Darlene S.
“I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth—
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the Lord.
Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust,
And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.” Psalm 40:1-4 NKJV
When I was living like the world it wasn't as much a prayer as I just talked to GOD and said help me not to sin and offend him and I would change one job to another because I was too weak at that time to stay where I was to get where I needed to be.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV
- Tara M.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
This verse conveys His love to me. Only someone who loves me would care about my future and truly want to see me prosper. It seems like the rest of the world wants to send you the opposite message. The world says you'll never make it and God loves you enough to say it is my desire to see you prosper. You WILL make it. It is my plan for you. That makes me feel loved♡

"The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23 NASB
- Clinetta W.
"Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7 NASB
When our son and daughter in law were in Afghanistan I adopted this verse and it has become near and dear to me. At that time it was hard to rest in Him and I constantly was calling on this verse. I felt so helpless as a mom. It helped me to know He was indeed in charge and I could do nothing about where they were nor how many times they had to go back and as I look at the plaque now with this verse on it, it brings me great joy.

"…while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed. He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds." Titus 2:13-14 NLT
I actually enjoy all of Titus because it basically explains how God wants us to be good human beings in simple terms. When your faith is low, read Titus and it renews your spirit and your love for Jesus!

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 NKJV
- Dennis W.
“Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world. He did not send him to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17 ERV
Jesus came to bring healing and to give true peace. God’s desire is that every person, not most people, but yes, every person would turn from their sin and wrongdoing and that they’d find forgiveness and salvation in His Son Jesus Christ.
- Joel M.
"For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." 2nd Corinthians 5:14-17 NASB
This passage really speaks to me in a powerful way that once we have come to Christ in salvation we no longer live for ourselves. We receive a brand-new life with a whole new orientation. We no longer live to please ourselves but we live completely for Christ and rather than that being a burdensome thing, it is truly a life of liberty, peace, love and joy! Jesus promised us abundant life and that is what He gives us!
